DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE
Commerce Department of Government Arts & Science College Karunagappally has started its functioning from the very inception of the College since 2016. The department is currently functioning with a UG session having an intake of 30 students in Bachelor of Commerce (Finance). Four teaching faculties in the stream of commerce are engaged in the department. Though in its infancy stage, the department is able to account in its kitty significant achievements in terms of university Examinations results and opened vistas to successful students towards higher academics and placements.

DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH
The Department of English came into existence in 2016, the year in which the college was established . The department currently offers undergraduate programme in English Language and Literature. It has five permanent faculty members and two of them hold research degrees. The department also offers Foundation courses, Language courses, Open course and Ability Enhancement courses to students of other departments.

DEPARTMENT OF MALAYALAM
The Department of Malayalam was part of the college right from the establishment of the college in 2016. The Department offers an undergraduate course in Malayalam Language and Literature and also offers Malayalam Additional Language to the students of the various other degree courses. From a humble beginning, the Department keeps growing, catering to the academic and intellectual needs of students belonging to the various sections of the society.
